Charles Robinson
Very nice!
Jim Carrell replied:
Thank you Charles. The eagle with the arrows (war) and olive branch (peace) were very popular on early American coins. On some coins the arrows were in the right hand of the eagle which is considered the dominant hand and some considered it "warlike" and it almost got the U.S. into a war. The olive branch is now in the right hand and the arrows in the left hand.
